The design
This minimalist t-shirt features “Mu” (無) – the Zen character for nothingness / non-being – rendered in the bold brush style of the famous Zen monk and master calligrapher Hakuin Ekaku. The powerful, asymmetric strokes give the kanji a living presence – quiet, direct, and uncompromising. We balance the calligraphy with our red Kokin Denju seal.
