In case you are wondering: 古今伝授 (Kokin Denju) is the secret teaching of the Kokin Wakashū, a classic Japanese poetry collection. It was passed down privately from master to student to preserve its deep meanings, techniques, and cultural importance. It is in other words a technique of preserving the old by keeping it alive in the present – which we feel resonates with what we are doing with our designs.
