古今伝授 (Kokin Denju) is the secret teaching of theKokin Wakashū, a classic Japanese poetry collection. It was passed down privately from master to student to preserve its deep meanings, techniques, and cultural importance.

It is in other words a technique of preserving the old by keeping it alive in the present – which we feel resonates with what we are doing with our designs.

Many AI tools have a tendency to simply make up Japanese characters or render them in a unnatural way. You will not find made-up kanji in our designs. Every design is carefully vetted by human designers and Japanese native speakers to ensure authenticity.

Our shirts are high quality products that will serve you for a long time, especially if you wash inside out and tumble dry on "low" setting (if at all).

Our shirts are made out of 100% ring spun cotton (the color 'sport grey' has 90% cotton, 10% polyester) and using OEKO-TEX certified, low-impact dyes.
