Hiroshige Utagawa (1797β1858) was a renowned Japanese ukiyo-e artist celebrated for his landscape prints. His series 'One Hundred Famous Views of Edo' is a collection of vibrant woodblock prints depicting iconic scenes and seasonal landscapes of Edo (modern-day Tokyo).
The spacius backprint shows the scene "New Fuji, Meguro" of the Hundred Views. On the front side, Hiroshige Utagawa's name is added in Japanese kanji as a subtle reference to the famous ukio-e artist.
