This striking design for Mother's Day is inspired by the Japanese homaekake (帆前掛け) is a traditional Japanese apron, originally worn by shopkeepers, artisans, and workers. Our take on the homaekake shows the Japanese character for "mother" surrounded by tongue-in-cheek expressions along the lines of "safety first".
